The Aurora Health Care is a non-profit health care system based in Milwaukee and service in east Wisconsin. Aurora is the biggest home care organisation in Wisconsin with 32,000 staff, 1,800 of whom are salaried doctors. Since its foundation in 1984, Aurora has grown through partnership with autonomous joint clinics and links to doctors' organisations, as well as organically through the construction of new clinics and centres.
Advanced Healthcare, an impartial medical practitioner based in southeast Wisconsin, and Aurora Health Care announce on July 31, 2007 that they will join "as part of a comprehensive partnership agreement". "Under the terms of the terms of the agreement, Advanced Healthcare's management would continue to operate effectively. Coming to Aurora in 1988, the Visiting Nurse Association of Milwaukee has 886 nurses on its payroll since 2010, who have made 273,092 calls to over 15,000 individuals with an average of well over 2,200 calls per night over a journey of over 3,000,000 mile.
