Supplementary MedPair Health Insurance - Nationwide

The MedPair is an extra health insurance policy that provides a way for you and your staff to compensate for increasing health care outlays. Our programme is tailored to fit in with your big health care programme to ensure extra cover for your staff and their families. This means that staff members spend less in advance on health care.

Comprises cover for childbirth and hospitalisation, inclusive of room fees, surgical costs, GP fees and ER care (if hospitalised). Claims options: $500 to a total of $10,000 per policyholder per claim year. Limits of benefits for families: Corresponds to three fold the amount of individually in-patient benefits.

Procedure for the provision of benefits: Staff can register entitlements directly or transfer payments to the supplier for refund. Contains cover for treatment provided in an ER of the infirmary, an ambulatory institution of the infirmary, an ambulatory surgery institution, a diagnosis institution, a medical practice, a laboratory institution and an ER. Service options: $0 to $4,000 based on chosen stationary service.

Limits of entitlement to receive child benefits: Equivalent to three fold the amount of entitlement to receive child allowances.
