Combined Health Centres in the San Joaquin Valley

The United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is a privately owned nonprofit organisation formed by a grassroots community of individuals seeking to increase health care accessibility in their community in the Central Valley of California. The United Health Centers currently operate 14 health centers and 15 WIC locations for 28 community districts in the following districts:

UHC provides a range of health community health facilities to help the local community ensure that remote and often poor municipalities have full and effective health outreach. UHC currently provides general and familial medicines, paediatrics, general dental medicines, pharmaceuticals, clinic laboratories, x-rays, dental surgery, remote medical science, integral behavioural health and preventive medical programmes.

In addition to these programmes, UHC also provides personal health, nutritional counselling, WIC support for children, health training and health support, home health plans, vaccinations, translations, local government missions, mother and children health and transport as well. 22 ] In an attempt to improve psychological health, all UHC centers provide behavioural and psychological health outcomes. 23 ] Once a case is considered to be under psychological stress, the first responder will shape the case in the way he provides support to help the case manager overcome it and present the case to the case manager.

24 ] By providing this aid immediately, they have reduced the number of no-shows for behavioural/mental health dates. The UHC organizes a wide range of activities to engage the church to raise ministry consciousness, educate the communities about relevant information, and deliver free health screening to communities in isolation. 25 ][26] Throughout the year, the UHC Health Exhibitions are held to promote health screening, vaccination and influenza vaccination, and to educate individuals about possible new advantages available to them through the Affordable Care Act.

Each year, UHC, in consultation with the JG Boswell Corporation, a large agricultural enterprise, goes out to the field and provides health check-ups for agricultural employees to get free health care they need without missing work. 27 ] UHC takes full use of the fact that the Accreditation Agency has raised funding for educational hospitals by opening one in the city of Rosinenstadt.

Basic education hospitals provide cost-effective basic health supplies, immunizations and prescription drugs for infants and enable them to miss less education than an ordinary doctor's appointment or emergency nursing appointment would necessitate. 30 ] Other members of the fellowship may also use these hospitals. UHC Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organisation committed to delivering good health service delivery with a wide range of natural and human assets to improve the well-being of San Joaquin Valley local people.

UHC was founded in 1971 in the agricultural working groups, where the inhabitants voiced the need for better health outreach. They imagined having the most extensive family-oriented health system to tackle the shortage of health and dentistry provision, taking into account issues such as high childhood diseases and death rate and affordable health outcomes.

UHC has been serving over 70,000 people with 385,000 clinic visits per year from 15 health centers in 3 Central Valley counts in Fresno, Tulare and King's after 47 years. The UHC Foundation was established in 2012 to provide extra funding to help fund church programmes with a high degree of commitment to better access and well-being for a healthy life in local churches.

UHC Foundation sponsors many nonhealth care programmes, among them the UHC/YMCA Summer Youth Camps, where more than 80 kids visit the camps each year, the UHC Patient Transportation Program, a pool of 5 transport vans used year-round to transport more than 13,000 people, and the UHC Prom Treasures Program for Promresses, which helps teenagers in the valleys by supplying clothes for less lucky kids.
